As I am used to to travel a lot, to various countries all around the world, I already picked several videos that I intend to turn into small films. You can also have a look on the Panoramio website www.panoramio.com/user/86769 , where I put some photos of places I like.

SISSEL performed this song "EG SER" (I SEE), from Bjørn Eidsvåg, at the occasion of a TV CONCERT named "Med Sissel til Kirkjubø" (filmed in Tórshavn - FAROE Islands) and released in 1991. The orchestra is directed by Per Egil HOVLAND.
Sissel performance was never released in any album or DVD later on, and to my knowledge, only very few recordings of the concert still exist today. I already uploaded several other songs of the concert on UA-cam, each time adding the lyrics. I hope you will enjoy it. PLO94 - October 2012.
INFORMATION REGARDING "EG SER"
"I see" is a song by Bjørn Eidsvåg, one of Norway's most reknown and best selling artists. The song was released on the album "PASSE GAL" from 1983. It is in connection with a sermon that Bjørn Eidsvåg hold when he was a priest at the Lier psychiatric hospital. It is said that the text was written in less than 15 minutes. "I see" is described as Eidsvåg most important song. It is now included in the book Additions to the Norwegian HYMN Book, and live its own lives. It has since been recorded by several other artists. Sissel had it on her first album "SISSEL" in 1986. The song has usually a very strong impact when you listen to it, may be as it says something fundamental about being human. It is about pain, death, but also about compassion and hopes.

The video comes from a VHS tape recorded in 1991 by one of my friends from Bergen. The tape was kept with a lot of care during years, and then turned into a digital version, first in 2007 and later on in 2012 (for a better quality). The "Eg Ser" video was edited using the Powerdirector 11 software. Thank you to all the persons who let some very interesting comments on the web regarding the so impacting lyrics. A special thanks also to my friend Anne Cathrine for her help.
